An all-natural way to thin drying oils such as tung oil or linseed oil, as well as pine tar. Will evaporate as it dries. Can also be used as a concentrated cleaner or degreaser. Has a strong but pleasant citrus aroma that is harmless, and is non-toxic and biodegradable.

Citrus Solvent is an excellent direct replacement for the more toxic paint thinner and mineral spirits. Also known as Orange Peel Oil

We recommend thinning tung oil or linseed oil 50/50 in order to allow the oils to penetrate deep into the wood. Depending on the project, this may be necessary for the first one or two coats, followed by a final coat of pure oil.
